The Wayuu people is one of the largest ethnic groups living in Colombia and Venezuela, with a population of about 700 thousand members. They preserve their own language, the Wayuunaiki, as well as their ancient traditions regardless of the social, political, and economic problems of the region. In this series, my aim is to show the beauty of people and the landscapes of this incredible place. These images were taken mostly in three regions: El Santuario de fauna y flora Los Flamencos (Los Flamencos Sanctuary) close to Riohacha; Las Salinas de Manaure (Manaure salt lagoons) in Manaure and in El Cabo de la Vela. In these three places, we can see a strong landscape with magic and natural beauty to offer.
