About

I am Alejandro Soto, a Berlin-based photographer mostly interested in landscapes, documentary photography and photo-essays.

Born in Colombia, I moved to Germany to study math and photography. During my years doing photography I’ve learned that it is a powerful language that allows us not only to capture what interests us in the outside but, as it happens with the written word, to express what we feel and how we perceive the world from the inside.

During the summer 2019 I did participate in the Workshop Berlin Night, Berlin Light: Exploring the Personal in Photography, organized by the VII Photo Agency, led by the the great photographers Linda Bournane Engelberth & Danny Wilcox Frazier. The results is in the series That Silent Presence of the Moon.
